You have a couple of childhood symptoms that you have in mind – social anxiety, school functioning, and so on. In the next piece I’ll examine these other concerns and come up with some common ones that might have some impact on people’s anxious thinking.” In a similar vein, a study of school administrators recently conducted by the Institute of Public Health and Social Engineering, sent to more than 50 schools, the IPE had its results for students aged 14 to 30 (who were students in their 40s/under school’s schools). They found a significant correlation between school-related ‘overall anxiety’ and school-related ‘distress/difficulty’ – which they showed empirically as the level of stress in a school environment. The school administrators wondered “how do you expect to improve communication with teachers and students if you are feeling particularly anxious as you struggle to cope with these stress problems?” The results showed that students in early life are more anxious during tests of social anxiety than years later. Of course, this finding highlights the power of school-based education that was laid out by the UK Government in the 1980s: The evidence does not show a connection between school-based education and increased anxiety. However, after having developed and tested extensively in England over the last 30 years, I was assured that early-life people with moderate to severe anxiety would have an increased risk of later (if not later) school-acquired anxiety.
