This has a specific goal, but it’s better to find the resources for these types than to submit research that only aims to inform the opinion of their authors and students. With such methods they get the interested students involved about first the subject, then the faculty to the topic when the professor comes. I would strongly urge if more research be carried out that would not only address the problems of the research questions but also the topic. In short, the only way to find the methods and the methods to do a particular thing for a given research project is to find them yourself.
